About FinanceXpresso
We're a small, opinionated team of finance practitioners on a mission: make personal finance in India honest, simple and actionable.
Why we exist
Most Indian "finance blogs" are SEO-bait built to push affiliate links. Reviews praise everything. Numbers don't add up. You finish reading more confused than when you started.
We built FinanceXpresso for the opposite reason — to be the site we wished existed when we were figuring out our own money. Every article is researched, written and reviewed by someone who has practised the craft: Chartered Accountants, SEBI-registered analysts, IRDAI-licensed advisors and ex-bankers.
Our editorial principles
- Independence first. We never accept payment to alter rankings. Sponsored content is clearly labelled.
- Numbers must add up. Every claim is sourced; every comparison is reproducible.
- Plain English. If a 12-year-old can't follow it, we rewrite it.
- Human-written, always. AI helps us with grammar — never with the substance.
- Update or remove. Old rates, expired offers and stale tax slabs hurt readers more than no content at all.
How we make money
FinanceXpresso is free to use. When you apply for a credit card, loan or investment through a link on our site, the partner bank or NBFC pays us a small commission — at no extra cost to you. This funds our editorial team. It does not influence what we recommend.
We don't sell your data. Lead forms route only to the institution you apply with, and only after you tick consent. Read the full Privacy Policy.
Who we are
The FinanceXpresso editorial team is led by domain experts across credit, lending, insurance, taxation and capital markets. Each writer is named on the article they author, with their credentials visible — so you know exactly who is giving you advice.
